As de Picas takes part in the Asturias bite championship

Form March the 4th to the 13th As de Picas restaurant will be participating in the ninth edition of the Asturian Bite Championship.

Over 170 bars, cafés and restaurants from 29 Asturian towns are taking part in this regional championship. A map detailing the location of every participating restaurant will be provided by the organization of the event to make easier the selection of the participants. 12 finalists will be selected by a jury composed of 70 gastronomic critics.

II Alaska red salmon food festival

Popularly known as red salmon, kokanee salmon, or blueback salmon, sockeye salmon is an anadromous species of salmon found in the Northern Pacific Ocean and rivers discharging into it. This species is a Pacific salmon that is primarily red in hue during spawning. They can grow up to 84 cm in length and weigh 2.3 to 7 kg.

As de Picas Restaurant is taking part, together with one hundred other restaurants, in the Salmon Food Festival to be held from June, the 10th to 19th.
